Turning the Impossible into Possibility

Only Believe… If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.Mark 9:23 (KJV)

Can you believe God? Can you hold on to the promise of His Word? Regardless of the circumstance, that is what we as Believers have to do and it is what the Lord expects us to do. Otherwise, what is the alternative, failure and defeat?

I don’t know about you my friend but I like my chances with God through faith in Him. Something may seem impossible and indeed may be in our own power or when depending upon this world’s systems for help…but with God all things are possible.”—Matthew 19:26 (KJV)

What is impossible to man is possible with God. What makes it possible is the power of God to provide and produce. Someone once said that “man’s extremity is God’s opportunity.” I understand where they were coming from with that statement, and I am not saying they were incorrect but I am saying they were very possibly incomplete with that statement. What I mean by that is you do not have to reach your extreme to experience the power of God!

Throughout history and even in our own lives and lifetime, there has been much so-called impossibility: some have called the blind seeing; the lame walking; or the deaf hearing…impossible. But if it has happened even once, it is no longer impossible! How about a bad marriage turned around; getting a job when no one else is; paying off a huge debt or maybe all of your debts; or even seeing a loved one saved and serving the Lord. Impossible they say? Not if it has ever happened once to anyone!

Our responsibility is to believe God from the beginning—straight out of the gate! If we fail to do so, if we fail to believe God from the beginning, we become powerless to deal with the turbulence that comes into the atmosphere of our lives. In other words, failure to trust God, when facing difficult circumstances—weakens our resolve and ability to stand strong while waiting for the manifestation of the answer.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV)

When we try to operate in our own understanding, lean upon our experiences and intellect, to navigate life’s waters—instead of our faith in God—we set ourselves up for disappointment and defeat. When we do this, we take what is supposed to be a spiritual thing—our believing and trusting in God—and we introduce to it this natural, fleshly, atmosphere that creates turbulence in our lives.

In other words, instead of just trusting God and His Word to make it through whatever you may be facing from the start, we try to rely on our experiences that are born in the sense realm which is this natural world. God gave us our natural five physical sensesthe ability to hear, see, smell, taste and touch—to navigate, function within this physical world we live in and not the world of the spirit.

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.1 Corinthians 2:14 (KJV)

Although God gave us our natural physical senses, He also gave us faith to operate with the world of the spirit—which is where God resides! The spiritual realm is the source of all we are surrounded by in this world. When we have faith or exercise our belief in God and His Word we not only come in contact with God but we also come in contact with all He is capable of being for us!

This is the realm of possibility! The world we live in is full of limits and impossibilities—but there are no impossibilities with our God! When we believe God, we receive God’s power to make the impossible possible! Whatever may seem impossible to you at this moment, face it with faith in the power of God to turn it around and see what happens!

I am trusting God for the impossible. I am a secoond term medical school student. The road to get here was not easy. Term 2 has just been so hard for me. I failed all my midterms. I prayed hard and studied hard. I was so depressed about the whole process. I end up passing two of my three exams. I failed one with only 0.25% which is less than a quarter of a point. I went to see the director and she told me she is recommending me for dismissal and the committee meets this Friday. I am still trusting God would make a way. I placed all these exams in his hand because he is bigger than my exams.

Hi Tina and thank you for your response to this post. I agree, as you stated, we must look to Jesus for the help we need. Regardless of our struggles in life, we must exercise our faith in God, believing that the power of the blood of Jesus is greater than any stronghold that exists. I will be praying with you for his salvation and deliverance…in the name of Jesus!

May the Blessing of God rest over your entire household and give you peace.

Nothing is impossible with him, as I sit at my work place it would be easy to see all of the unfair treatment that the world bestows upon the children of God, especially if the light shining upon them is of Holy descent. It seems that all the world wants to do is steal from the children of God and not give the Lord his glory. But the scripture says that the earth is the Lords and the fullness thereof and all that dwell there in. We are to pray for our supervisors knowing that there master also is in heaven and that there is no respect of persons with him. God truly sees all and knows all because he has created the seeing eye and the hearing ear, so if anyone is going thru any unfair treatment on the job remember we have the victory.

Hi Sebastian, what a faith inspired message you have shared with us, it holds much more Truth then any wordly, fleshy logic, wisdom or reason ever could. I too believe God is God of the impossiable my life and many others show this to be very True.

The Scripture below that you posted for us, was one that God touched my heart with years ago, it really impacted me and remains in my heart even as I share with you now.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.—Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV)

The next one that has had a profound affect on me, so much so that I will never be the same again is….

James 1:5-8 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Both are saying much the same thing, not one of us can claim to have been born with God’s wisdom but we all need it, yet how many will ask and believe they have received it or will they continue to Trust in their own or someone elses wordly understanding.

Hi Anne…thanks for checking in and once again encouraging us in the Lord!

Your point is a good one that far too many believers are leaning on the understanding of the world…regardless “who” it is coming from!

We must always seek to receive God’s understanding and revelation. It is the only thing that will lead to true victory!!

      Blessings to you both!

I applaud your attempts in your blog to bring common sayings into line with spiritual realities, and to open doors of possible when God enters a situation. This needs to be done to counter the materialist lies that we live by the limits of our being. I prefer the infinite of the Creator. Keep up the ministry.
