Prayer for Our Communities

Prayer21-672x372

Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord. —Hebrews 12:14 (NLT)

Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. —Psalm 34:14 (KJV)

Tonight, let’s focus our faith in prayer for our communities.

Father, in the name of Jesus, we lift our eyes, hands and hearts to you from Whom all our help come. We ask for Your help and intervention in the areas in which we live, work and play.

We ask that you bind every demonic force determined to steal, kill and destroy our communities and we who live in them. We use our authority to break the very spirit of violence, strife and confusion.

We seek and ask for a spirit of peace and reconciliation over our areas and among ourselves. May we seek to live and behave as neighbors to one another and to express Your Love in our daily lives. May everyone we come in contact with see You in us in everything we do.

We lift up every Spiritual, Civic and Governmental leader; asking for You to cover them and to give them wisdom as they deal with Your people and while conducting their business.

Father, help us to be the “light of the world” and the “salt of the earth”, You expect us to be. We now willingly give ourselves over to Your will and Your way. In the name of Jesus…Amen!

Blessings!

Sebastian
