The Love Walk

Love One Another…use your freedom to serve one another in love; that’s how freedom grows. For everything we know about God’s Word is summed up in a single sentence: Love others as you love yourself. — Gal. 5:13-14 (MSG)

The way to God is the way of love. Through His forgiveness and the sacrifice of His Son Jesus, God’s love towards man opens the door for every man to be able to walk in fellowship with the Father.

As Believers, we must focus our minds and hearts on being loving and forgiving. This is the way God has expressed himself to us. This is the same love He wants the world to see in action among those who have dedicated their lives to Him.

“Let me give you a new command: Love one another. In the same way I loved you, you love one another. This is how everyone will recognize that you are my disciples—when they see the love you have for each other.” — John 13:35 (MSG)

Love is a command that we must fulfill. We cannot afford the luxury of holding onto anger, hurts, disappointments and such. Love has to be a part of every fiber of our being. The way of love is to live with the force of God living within and flowing out of us always. I encourage each Believer to not only talk about the Love of God but to live it as well…it will transform the world around us.

I guess for me talking about love isn’t love. Love is only something when it is lived. So how do I write a blog about love when that appears to be only words? I guess we have to love anyway we can 🙂 !

Yes, I love it! Our words seem so minuscule and futile when you realize the weight and scope of true love. Our cannot be in words alone but in deed as well.

Either way, we must be about the business of love. As you said, “…guess we have to love anyway we can”. Love you Brother!!

      Blessings!
